Designing MetaLens with Simulation

Overview

In the second session of the MetaLens Complete series, we shift from fundamentals to hands-on design execution. This module is built for engineers and researchers looking to translate optical requirements into a fabrication-ready metalens. Using a real Eye-Tracking optical system as our running example, we’ll demonstrate how to define metasurface specifications, generate and optimize phase profiles, and evaluate system-level imaging performance using the Ansys Optics portfolio.

This session connects theory to practice—showing how a metalens evolves from mathematical intent to validated optical behavior.
